Day 01- A show that should have never been canceled

I could name a bunch of shows here, since I find a lot of my favorite shows are very short-lived. But if we are not counting shows that ran more than one season or shows that were unable to continue due to staff commitments or differences, then my vote is for Wonderfalls. Wonderful scripts, wonderful cast, wonderful everything.

I love Bryan Fuller’s female protagonists. He can make shows with smart and funny female leads who aren’t trumped up for sex appeal and places them in interesting situations which test them. And I find Jaye, especially, easy to relate to. She’s in her mid-twenties and “over-educated and unemployable”, which I totally relate to. She’s also isolates herself through a bad attitude as a defense mechanism, but is suddenly challenged by circumstances to push the limits of her comfort zone. And through this, she helps others as well as herself.

Also, the plot lines I hear that were planned for future seasons of the show (shame it was cancelled after like 4 episodes!) were really interesting. Go figure Fox would get it cancelled, though!
